Answer object type: capability

An expert firm's first question map is not its final market. As its knowledge, buyers and competitive environment change, the managed Knowledge Index can reveal adjacent or emerging buyer questions the firm may be equipped to own next. A new content idea is not automatically a new question market: the candidate must represent a distinct buyer need the firm can legitimately support. Delphic makes credible candidates visible while keeping the qualification and comparison judgement protected.

## The existing map is not the final market

An expert firm's products, research and buyer environment continue to change after its first question map is built. New buyer needs appear, competitors establish authority in adjacent areas and activity around existing questions can reveal demand the original map did not capture.

The Knowledge Index is designed to develop with that market. Delphic uses the strategic view accumulating across it to identify candidate question families the firm may be equipped to own next.

That extends the value of the Index beyond improving known questions. It helps the firm see where its legitimate authority could enter a new commercially meaningful market.

## From a signal to a candidate market

A new content idea is not automatically a new question market. A credible candidate represents a real buyer need, connects to authority the firm can legitimately support and is distinct enough to manage as its own question family.

Those public distinctions explain what the capability is for. The judgement that discovers, qualifies and compares candidates remains protected.

## Identification before prioritisation

The valuable first act is discovering a credible new market, not publishing a universal score. The client sees why a candidate may matter and decides whether it belongs in the firm's research, publishing, product or managed Knowledge Index plans.

When several candidates exist, Delphic can help the client decide which deserve investigation in light of the firm's goals. The public corpus does not expose that comparative judgement or the logistical order in which work is scheduled.

## The judgement remains protected

This page establishes that the Knowledge Index can expand the firm's view of its market and produce qualified candidates for growth. The qualification judgement remains protected.

## Disclosure line

Golden-nugget core: partial

Public at this line: Why the original map is not static; the difference between a content idea and a candidate question market; the relationship to Question Market Intelligence; and the client decision to investigate or add a candidate.

Held at this line: Delphic keeps private the judgement used to determine whether an apparent opportunity merits becoming a new question family.

Access path: Delphic applies the protected identification judgement to the market view developing across the firm's managed Knowledge Index.

## Applied client output

Credible candidate question markets, with enough explanation for the client to decide which merit investigation.
